Welcome to the ukleagues.com fixture generator. This is a free programme that will generate fixtures for any number of teams or players from 4-14. IT IS CURRENTLY UNDER TEST BUT SHOULD BE FULLY LIVE BY THE END OF FEB

It is free to use, all we ask is that you:

  1. Leave any code generated in place
  2. Any logos we insert in printouts in place
  3. Link back to us in recognition of the help we have given you

We feel that is fair and we hope you do as well.

Not only will this programme generate fixtures, it will also help you to avoid home and away clashes when you have a two teams playing from the same venue, for example, two pub pool teams.

With this in mind, you will see from each matrix that certain teams are not at home at the same time.

What does that mean?

Basically, the idea is that you put teams from the same venue in opposite slots so that they don't clash. If you are running multiple divisions, then you can use the same matrix for all of them. Thus, before you even start using this system you should draw your plan of who goes where.

Here is an example, I have several pubs with an A and a B team playing across several divisions, you can see how I have inserted the teams into slots that do not clash here:

Ten Team Division

1 Never clashes with 10
2 Never clashes with 6
3 Never clashes with 7
4 Never clashes with 8
5 Never clashes with 9
6 Never clashes with 2
7 Never clashes with 3
8 Never clashes with 4
9 Never clashes with 5
10 Never clashes with 1

Therefore, grabbing my bit of paper, I first insert the teams that I need to ensure do not clash:

Once you have done that and it all looks ok,  you can then insert all the remaining teams..

Notice that Division 2 has a bye and Division 3 has two byes? That is because in my experience, in order to run a multi division league it is sensible that all divisions begin and end at the same time thus ensuring that players are kept busy - it is better to have the byes spread out than back ended.
